CO-PRESIDENT

Lal is a junior currently living in Adams House, originally from Istanbul, Turkey. Lal is pursuing a double concentration in Economics and Psychology (Mind, Brain, Behavior track) with a secondary in Computer Science. Previously a part of the Class of 2024, Lal decided to take a gap year before college, during which she worked as a coordinator in a research program and as a product manager at an ed-tech start-up. On campus, she is an associate of the Crimson Business Board, the Co-President of the Harvard Turkish Students Association, a Peer Advising Fellow for Wigg H, and a research assistant at the Harvard Laboratory for Developmental Studies under Dr. Susan Carey. Last summer, she had the opportunity to intern at Harvard Business School’s Middle Eastern and North Africa Research Center, where she learned about various industry fields in the regions and their organizational challenges. In her free time, Lal enjoys cooking traditional Turkish food, painting, and watching docuseries!
